Try to use your ult when he does his. If he ults, you can simpely charm in his direction and dash out.

Your passive blocks Talon's Q. At early levels, poke with spears as much as you can, and when he gets low enough, W->Q->E and ignite and Talon's dead.

Since Talon's Cutthroat does not silence anymore, a good Malzahar will preform his E->W->R combo if Talon ever jumps on him. That is, only before Talon ults.

Use W on you when he teleport on you. U can now run away with E or counter-harass with Q+AA, use your E to deny his run and to land more skill shots. An early Hourglass is handy: Armor+AP and use it to stop/slow his harass moment. Call jungler for help.

If you're fast enough you can stun Talon with you ult when he goes in on you. So make sure to save the ult. Also, his engage is his E (cutthroat) so he will appear behind you, keep that in mind when you direct your ult and attempt to break his combo.

Talon's kit are combinations of oneshots. if he gets behind he's useless and will most likely roam for farm and ganks just to get back in the game.

If you end up in his range to get combod by him, especially pre-6, just use your chain on him then do your full combo. Your combo does more than his pre and post 6 if neither is fed.

Oppress Talon from levels 1-5 and slap him with autoattacks when he last-hits. Talon is bad at farming but he's perfectly capable of killing you later on if you don't shake him down.

Stay out of range of his E as much as possible, as he can jump on you and burst you down. Your Q outranges his E, so use that to stun him and then hit him with your Frostbite. Stay back and poke him and you should be able to survive. Just be cautious.

Rylais Scepter is a great item to keep talon at bay. Or any other assassin or ad bruiser as well.
